There is no waiting time for a new term to begin.  Your course begins on the day you enroll and pay your registration fee which covers your ADP registration, your CSAC I exam and certification.  You may either attend a class at one of our qualified institute locations listed on our website at www.acadc.org/page/page/2326735.htm  or enroll in distance learning.  Your term starts when you start and your certification and/or bachelors degree program is completed when you have completed all required testing and field experience requirements.

 

 THE OPTIONS

Option 1:  Professional State and Nationally Accredited Certified Drug, Alcohol and Addictions Counselor (CDAAC) Certification

The assignments for option 1 consist of reading the text material assignment pages given in each module description below, completing the quiz for each module, and completing the state exam (the Registered Addiction Specialist (RAS Exam) for which you will read an exam preparation book with a DVD tutorial.  This option will award you a dual CDAAC/RAS certification which will qualify you with both the biblical and secular certifications.

Option 2:  Bachelors Degree with CDAAC Counselor Certification

To earn both our Bachelor of Ministry degree in Drug, Alcohol and Addictions Counseling and the Option 1 CDAAC Certification, all Option 1 assignments must be completed as a prerequisite for Option 2.  To complete Option 2 and receive our bachelors degree, a theme paper (following ACADC Institute Theme Paper Guidelines) must be written on each module.  For the CDAAC Certification page numbers are listed for assignments in all textbooks.  These assignments are suspended for Bachelors Degree candidates because since they are required to read all textbooks in their entirety as their counseling library is developed from the reading list found in the CDAAC Certification Core Curriculum as seen below, and the Bachelors Degree Textbook Assignment information sheet.
