JOB DESCRIPTION
Passport to Learning is looking for Professional and Experienced staff to provide community based counseling and instruction to Judicially Involved adults and Juveniles-clients in the San Francisco/Oakland area. .
Adaptive Living Skills (ALS) Instructor:
The instructor is actively involved in all aspects of training PTL’s clients to develop the Skills they need to live independently. The instructor has primary day-to-day contact with their assigned client.
Goals of Program
Work closely with Adaptive Living Skills Management (ALS) to implement a behavior modification plan and assist clients with adhering to judicial guidelines and terms involving parole and probation
Job Qualifications/Duties:
• Experience working with Adults and Children with Behavior Issues.
• Ability to implement and administer Substance Abuse Education and treatment plans.
• Ability to facilitate substance abuse and anger management groups meetings
• Basic understanding of mental health diagnosis and treatment plans.
• Basic understanding of the judicial system/legal system, Parole and probation requirements for clients served in the program.
• Case Management and documentation experience
Education: Bachelors Degree
However will consider Experience as a substitute for education if applicable.
