Dual Christian-Secular State Certification Offered

As of September 2006, ACADC Institutes have made available
the dual certifications of the Certified Drug, Alcohol and
Addictions Counselor (CDAAC), and the Registered Addiction
Specialist (RAS) to all registered ACADC students. The
purpose of this dual offering is to equip ACADC graduates
with all the certification available to work in the
professional arena of recovery and addictions counseling
and be accepted in any professional organization despite
whatever worldview or orientation they might have.
The addition of the RAS certification in no way diminishes
the CDAAC as a valid state authorized certification but
enhances opportunities for our Christian counselor
graduates to gain employment in secular organizations that
normally may not recruit Christian counselors.
