A SMALLER WORLD BUT A GREATER NEED FOR DISTANCE LEARNING
Distance learning is any method allowing the student to learn and be equipped to counsel outside of the traditional setting. Distance learning includes but is not limited to use of textbooks, reading material of all kinds including online materials, DVDs, CDs, church or ministry-related classes, teaching materials, pulpit teaching or any other means approved by the Bible believing church or ministry and does not conflict with the belief statement or statement of faith of the Association of Christian Alcohol and Drug Counselors.
In today's global digital society it is difficult for most and impossible for many to get the education they need in a physical classroom. This is especially true with adult students with families who comprise the higher percentage of the student population of the Association of Christian Alcohol & Drug Counselors Institutes. On the other hand so many diploma mills are cropping up in the distance learning arena offering people diplomas, degrees and certifications with no education. Many distance learning programs are highly suspect in todays culture.
ACADC Institute is meeting the difficult challenge to provide a real and practical education to our students who can not attend one of our classroom locations. The education we offer our distance learning students uses the same textbooks that are required for our physical classroom courses. The material is the same and so is the dual CDAAC / RAS certification and degrees.
